Nigerian serial hitmaker and afrobeat sensation Kizz Daniel has finally released his highly anticipated single, “Sooner,” off his new extended play (EP) titled “TZA (Thankz A Lot).”
The singer’s distinctive and captivating style of music-making is undoubtedly evident in the new release, which is accompanied by three other captivating songs to make up his new four-track EP. Other songs featured in the project include “Showa,” which is another brand-new song worth taking over the streets of Africa and beyond musically. Kizz is actually known for taking over the streets and even the airwaves.
Also included is his earlier released hit single, “Too Busy To Be Bae,” as well as “Twe Twe,” which was eventually remixed and featured his fellow afrobeat sensation and DMW boss, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
According to the singer, who is originally Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe and hails from Ogun State in Nigeria, the new EP “Thankz A Lot” serves as an expression of appreciation and his way of giving back to his global audience and fanbase, who have continually offered their unwavering support to his decade-long career, which commenced professionally in 2014 with the release of his debut single “Woju.”
In an Instagram post, the singer, while announcing the latest release, wrote:
“I am incredibly grateful for the love and support I have received from my fans throughout my career. ‘Thankz Alot’ is my way of expressing my appreciation and giving back to them for their unwavering support.”
Kizz Daniel’s gradual progression from where he started to the peak of his career might be a source of inspiration to some younger or upcoming artists elsewhere in the world. His commendable songwriting skills, vocal delivery and ability to blend the afrobeat genre with a touch of pop and R&B genres of music set him apart.
He is one of those who hold the title of serial hitmaker and this is not unfounded, as the 29-year-old singer has repeatedly justified the title. He flaunts the accolades of one with a staunch pen game as he simply dishes out unusual lyrics that put his fans in awe. His instrumentals are often quite unique and give him a distinctive brand identity that is often not difficult to identify and associate with.
Thanks to his team of creatives alongside his designer, who sets him apart even with his appearance, which very often complements his natural handsomeness. Kizz Daniel is also loved by his fans, especially ladies, some of whom have, at various occasions, taken to social media to express their love for him. A lot of them were left heartbroken when the singer finally disclosed that he was married.
Just like his many other releases, “Sooner” is another testament to the singer’s creative ability, his hard work and his purposefulness to impress his fans while maintaining his authenticity and rhythmic imprint in the afrobeat industry. As much as he hopes to stay longer in the entertainment business, he also hopes to receive continued support from fans while striving to dish out his best to suit their tastes.
