Famous Instagram comedian and skit maker now turn singer, Odahohwo Joseph Efe popularly known as Carter Efe, has called out his fellow skit maker and owner of Neville records Sydney Talker, over the lingering health crisis and sudden disappearance of singer, Khaid.
Carter Efe registered his displeasure with the singer’s sudden disappearance and suspected health challenge via a live Instagram session where he called on Sydney Talker to come out and explain what exactly is wrong with Khaid.
According to Carter Efe, he was displeased by the fact that he could not account for what was wrong with Khaid and had not heard from Sydney despite being friends with the Neville records boss.
He said it was worrisome that no one had seen Khaid in a while yet, the last post Sydney made on social media since news broke of Khaid’s health challenge was a call for prayers for the singer.
He lamented the Neville records boss not receiving calls while also calling out the singers manager Jerry, for also staying mute in the wake of the unfortunate development.

Recall that a video had recently surfaced online of Khaid being rushed to an undisclosed medical facility for alleged internal bleeding.
While fans hurriedly wished him quick recovery and anticipated updates about his health and present condition, not so much has been heard about the singer again.
I just heard Khaid was taken to the hospital because of internal bleeding🥺
Please, pray for Khaid 🙏

Khaid has also not been seen anywhere on any social media platform since the viral video surfaced and even his boss, Sydney Talker, to whose record label he is signed has not been seen on the internet either.
Sydney only made a post once, calling for prayers for the singer as Carter Efe referenced in his live IG video.
However, the continued absence and silence from everyone closely associated with the singer and Carter’s recent video has sparked another round of controversy with many speculating a stunt in a bid to promote Khaid’s upcoming release.
Nigerian artists have in recent time, adopted an act of faking their death or crafting some other negative narratives to call attention to themselves shortly before releasing their next projects.
Fans and critics are however, hopeful that this would not be another of such from Khaid as several netizens have asserted that the singer might just be what they have described as “Oladips 2.0.”
“I am not moved with this Sydney talker and caret efe drama. Khaid might be Oladips 2.0.” Just Eniola wrote on X.
Popular Nigerian Doctor and social media influencer Dr Penking also shared his thoughts, expressing displeasure with the scenario as he thinks both Carter Efe and Sydney Talker are only chasing clout with the singer’s ill health.
He wrote, “Carter Efe and Sydney Talker are using a sick man Khaid to chase clout. No be both of Una dance together with diapers the other day? We shall all get what we deserve.”
Similarly, another user identified as Obiasogu David, in a long post titled “Is Khaid really playing stunt with his life just to promote his music?,” recounted how Nigerian creatives had previously faked some negative narratives just in a bid to promote their crafts.
The post read, “Every stage of the incident looks unreal – from Sydney rushing him to an unnamed hospital and asking the public to pray for him to Carterefe coming out 2 days after asking the public to hold Sydney responsible.
“It’s pathetic that most of these musicians adopt toxic means to promote their arts. Davido and Wizkid kickstarted this controversy PR – mostly having a n£gative news or a staged beef whenever they want o promote their craft, especially an album.
“Odumodublvck and Prettyboy Do probably drew inspiration from them two when they did their play-act beef a few months back.
“In 2015, Skiibii faked his d£ath just to promote his music. Oladips took lessons from him and did his last year December.
“This incident of Khaid looks exactly like a PR stunt. Just like others, it doesn’t make any sense, quite uninspiring and toxic.
“These musicians should take a lesson from Nasboi. He may not have the best of music but his PR prowess sells his craft. And of course, he promotes his music positively.”
